Hello, I’m Juliet Alvarez, based in Marseille.

As a multidisciplinary artist, I move between photography, collage, animation, illustration, and comics. I enjoy bringing techniques and images into dialogue to create dreamlike worlds in which reality becomes blurred through its encounter with fiction.

In this age of information overload, the ever-expanding internet endlessly regurgitates a heterogeneous stream of copied, displaced, and recomposed images. I draw from this visual chaos to question our perception of the world and uncover unexpected forms of beauty.

I therefore see myself as an artist of the uncanny, attentive to everything that blurs the boundaries of what is real.
